Ignoring the rough start (about two or three episodes of the first season in which the show is adjusting to its audience), THE IT CROWD proved to be hilarious with jokes overlapping from episode to episode and season to season. It was a bit ahead of its time although it gained a cult following and resonates still, as the computer age is not going to go away and the technological era is only sweeping in larger strokes across the world. As grandparents get online for the first time, it's no surprise that the question has to be asked: "Have you tried turning it off and then on again?" It's beautiful in its simplicity; I'm web and computer savvy, but even I can admit that this easy-peasy solution solves a whole range of problems. If you know anything at all about technology, you'll love this show about two geeks pushed into the basement of the office building until called upon to fix the computers upstairs and the shenanigans they get into when a pretty but computer illiterate manager is sent down to supervise them. I highly recommend it, especially the second season.
