"Night of the Juggler" rules. It's about a former cop (James Brolin) whose daughter is mistakenly kidnapped because she resembles the daughter of a real-estate developer that a maniac has a grudge against. As soon as she's kidnapped, the movie is off to the races. It's exciting, it's tense, it's gritty, and it's loaded with grungy NYC atmosphere. It's not a masterpiece, but it's a highly entertaining genre film. For decades, this movie has been really difficult to see in decent quality, but it has built up a cult following. Kino Lorber delivers it on 4k, Blu-ray, and DVD at long last, and it's so nice to have the film circulating again. Check it out!
