Listening Session: Responding to Current Events

on August 19, 2025, 6:30pm to 7:15pm

Event description

Johnson County Library is committed to understanding the needs of our community regarding current and world events. The Library is a space for learning about our world – its people, places and events.

We invite you to a listening session to share your experiences, express concerns and help guide how the Library responds. Whether through expert-led programs, facilitated discussions or curated resources for adults and kids, we aim to support our patrons with timely, relevant services.

Library staff will be present to listen, learn and gather ideas to ensure our offerings meet the evolving needs of our community.

All sessions will have activities for children accompanying caregivers.

All are welcome. Registration preferred, not required.
