Set in contemporary Canada and on a tiny Caribbean island during World War II, He Drown She In The Sea is the story of the enduring love between Harry, a half-caste son of a maid, and Rose, the daughter of the wealthy couple his mother works for. Over the course of years Harry and Rose form a fierce attachment during his trips to Rose's house in town. But the friendship is severed the night Harry and his mother are persuaded to stay over because of an air raid on the island.
