Please read the content warnings at the beginning of the book before proceeding. This is a very popular dark romance. However, for me, the spice was what carried the book. Otherwise, the subplots were not written in a way that I found interesting, and because they took up so much of the book, it was difficult for me to stay interested.

I really enjoyed this one, but I listened to it on audiobook while I read along with the physical book, and must say the audiobook does so much to make the book even more thrilling! I highly recommend listening to this one, because there are multiple voice actors who make it come to life.

Well written and translated in my opinion, but disturbing beyond words, which makes it difficult to put to a star rating. Not for the faint of heart! Be sure to read trigger warnings before diving into this one.

This is a sweet, lighthearted romance that I particularly enjoyed because it not only has great depictions of food and sights to visit abroad, it also gives some good tidbits of advice for those planning to travel to those places. I've marked some places I now want to visit on a map thanks to this series!
